The Supershape Team skis for Juniors are a great all around ski for a wide range of abilities. Kid's are much lighter than adults so generally, their skis are softer and lighter as well (with the exception of a few). These skis will offer two important factors: easy turning and durability. The Era 2.0 rocker makes this ski incredibly easy to maneuver which is key for learning the fundamentals of skiing. The kid's may not be pushing a lot of weight but we know they can be hard on anything they own. Head has made sure these will stand the test of time with a durable textured topsheet and tip protectors.

Ideal Target Skier: Developing Young Skier:Anywhere from first timers to advanced youth skiers, that still have a lot to learn about skiing. They might ski fast sometimes, and have a blast, but aren't comfortable with some areas of the mountain.

Era 2.0 Rocker: The little brother of Era 3.0 has everything Era 3.0 has to offer as far as design, performance, and geometry. So basically, there is early rise rocker in the tips with a more progressive turning radius making for a very easy turning ski for kids of all ages.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

Textured Surface: Ideal for repelling wear and tear on the skis surface. Textured ski surfaces (aka snakeskin topsheet) are rough surfaces to the ski that hide or repel scratches keep your skis look new long after they are not. Originally designed for rental skis for obvious reasons, this surface is now available on a wide variety of retail skis as well since everyone likes their skis to look nice.

Active Camber: In a world of early rise, rocker, and reverse camber, there still is a need for traditional full camber skis. The edge grip and stability is unmatched on groomed snow. This ski gets maximum edge to the snow, so it helps skiers skiing the firm stuff, or just prefer the 'feel' of traditional camber skis.

Tip Protectors: Plastic protectors on the tip increase the durability of the skis and reduce the likelihood of a delamination. Your tips are the most likely edges to get cracked, keep 'em safe with tip protectors and your skis will last for a long long time. If the tip protectors get damaged, it is not as big a deal as if it were to happen to the actual skis themselves.
