The Stockli Laser AX is an aggressive frontside carver for aggressive skiers looking for the shot-out-of-a-laser-gun feel. TFC (Tail Flex Control) offers a slightly looser feeling at the exit of your turn the helps you drift a turn if you want to. Stockli's Turtle Shell Technology stiffens up or softens up the flex of the ski depending on your speed offering you a pleasant and un-fatiguing ride at any speed. SST Sidewalls grip and rip on firm terrain while directing your energy right to the snow.

All-Mountain Rocker in the tip engages the Laser AX as soon as you tip it on edge. If you like a precise carver that won't wear you out, but will offer a smooth and stable ride, the Stockli Laser AX is the perfect ski for you.

DETAILS:

  • Ski category: Allmountain-Ski
  • Rocker typ: V-Rocker
  • Core: Wood/Fiberglass/Titanium
  • Construction: Handmade-Sandwich

TECHNOLOGY:

SST – Sandiwch Sidewall Technology

The ski is built up layer-by-layer, with each layer glued together under pressure – a well-proven manufacturing process in ski construction.
Benefits:
• optimum energy transfer
• optimum precision
• heavy-duty construction

TSC – Turtle Shell Comfort

The wider notches in the upper Titanal layer enable simple handling during leisurely skiing. As soon as there is any impact, the Titanal plates interlock to give the ski needed stability.
Benefits:
• Torsionally neutral and smooth at leisurely paces
• Athletic and stable at higher speeds and when under greater stress

Rocker

The longer curvature of the shovel, called rocker technology, is specially adapted for each ski model.
Benefits:
• better float in powder
• Less effort required
• easier to turn on pistes
• easier edging

SME – Solid Metal Edge

Stöckli has started incorporating wider edges in all of its ski models. This not only extends the lifetime of the ski, but it also pays dividends for ski rental services, where the material is subject to particularly harsh use. In addition, the exceptionally robust materials and a clever design protect the ski surface against scratches and damage.
Benefits:
• Longer ski service life
• More edge-sharpening services are possible over the lifetime of the ski

ACL – Adaptive Contact Length

When you combine the FEC and “Tip and Tail” Rocker technology, you get ACL.
Benefits:
• A greater edge angle means more of the edge is in contact with the snow, and that results in more grip and stability in turns. The playful feel remains without needing to forgo stability.

FEC - Full Edge Contact

The ski is wider at the tip (and for GS also at the tail).
Benefits:
• Easier and faster initiation of the turn
• enhanced grip in the turn thanks to a longer edge contact length

TGR – Turtle Grip with an extra R

New surfaces on Laser X models. Slightly nubby texture creates a matte/shiny surface that imparts an elegant look to the design. The top graphics layer is also rugged.
Benefits:
• Nicer feel
• A real eye-catcher
